More than 10 lakh senior citizens have enrolled with the Ayushman Vaya Vandana card. Under AB PM-JAY, a record level of registration was achieved within three weeks of launching this scheme. Not only this, so far around 4 lakh nominations have been made by women under the Ayushman Vaya Vandana card.
Treatment worth over Rs 9 crore has been provided since the launch of the Ayushman Vaya Vandana card. This includes more than 4,800 seniors aged 70 or older. At the same time, more than 1,400 women have availed free health services under this scheme. Prime Minister Modi launched this card on October 29, 2024.

Under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY), people above 70 years of age have been connected to these facilities. This achievement was achieved three weeks after the launch of the card by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 29, 2024. Around 4 lakh nominations have been made by women under the Ayushman Vaya Vandana card.
Since the launch of the Ayushman Vaya Vandana card, treatment worth over Rs 9 crore has been approved. According to the report released by the GDP, more than 4,800 older adults have benefited from this plan in just three weeks. This includes more than 1,400 women.

According to the statement issued, many diseases such as cataract operations, strokes, etc. have been treated with the Ayushman Vaya Vandana card so far. These treatments include many conditions such as coronary angioplasty, hip fracture or replacement, gallbladder removal, cataract operation, prostate resection and stroke, etc.
