A horrific incident has come to light in Banda, Uttar Pradesh. Out of greed for money and property, a nephew conspired to murder his 70-year-old aunt. He got his aunt murdered by giving him a betel nut worth Rs 10 lakh. Upon revealing this matter, the police arrested three accused and sent them to prison.
According to information, this incident took place in Nandan Mau village under Badausa police station area. Here the body of the 70-year-old Ramabai woman was found in her house. The woman was murdered by slitting her throat. When people found out, the sensation spread throughout the town. After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and started investigation. SP has formed four teams to uncover this murder.
Investigation revealed that Ramabai had recently sold her ancestral land worth Rs 2 million and was living alone. They did not have any children. Due to greed for money and property, his in-laws’ nephew Srichand and his niece Rekha hatched a conspiracy. He gave him a contract to kill Ashok alias Chaila of the village. Police say that on the night of October 31, Ashok opportunistically entered Ramabai’s house, slit her throat with a sickle while she was sleeping and fled the scene.

After investigation, the police team revealed the incident and arrested Srichand and Rekha along with Ashok, the main murder accused. Police have also seized the weapon used in the murder.
Banda SP Ankur Aggarwal said that a murder incident had taken place in Badausa area, in which three accused were arrested for first-degree murder. These accused had planned and committed the murder out of greed for money and property, including the woman’s nephew and niece; All three have been arrested and further investigations are underway to find out who is involved. The charge sheet of this case will be submitted to the court soon and the process of obtaining punishment will be done at the earliest.
