Beaten to death for Rs 300 in Nalanda

Nalandia In Nalanda district of Bihar, one person was beaten to death and six people were injured for just Rs 300. The incident took place in Ajaypur village under Noorsarai police station area where Mithu Yadav of the same village owed Rs 300 to Sadan Mistry. Mithu Yadav and his associates came to Sadan Mistry’s house in an intoxicated state to demand the outstanding money. On this, Sadan Mistry later inquired about the return of the money and an altercation broke out between the two.

6 family members who came to rescue us were injured.

It is alleged that while abusing Mithu, he hit Sadan Mistry with a stick and left him bleeding. During this time, six family members who came to intervene were injured. All the people were shifted to Pawapuri Hospital for treatment. Where the doctor declared Sadan Mistry dead. The rest are in treatment.

The accused fled after committing the crime.

The deceased’s son alleges that the father was sitting near the house. Meanwhile, Mithu Yadav and his associates came asking for Rs 300. When Mithu did not pay the money, he beat his father to death. The son of the deceased said that the father told them that he would give them the money after Chhath Puja but they did not agree. The accused took sticks from his house and started hitting. 4-5 people are involved in this incident.

Raids continue to arrest the accused

In this case, Noorsarai police station in-charge Rajneesh Kumar said that the accused absconded after committing the crime. He said the police have registered a case against Santosh and raids are being carried out to arrest the accused. The police station chief said that the accused will be arrested soon and strictest measures will be taken. The police are currently investigating the matter.
