On the one hand, the vote will be held in Maharashtra on November 20. On the other hand, NCPSP leader Sharad Pawar has given a different indication in his speech. In fact, Sharad Pawar had reached Supa village in Baramati district to campaign for elections. In his speech he clearly indicated that arrangements will now have to be made for the development of Baramati for the next 30 years. Therefore, new leadership like Yugendra Pawar is needed now. While speaking, he hinted that just as I had handed over the responsibility of Baramati to Ajit Pawar 30 years ago. Now, once again, the time has come for Yugendra Pawar to represent Baramati for the next 30 years.

What did Sharad Pawar say in his speech?

In his speech, Sharad Pawar said that I have been elected to the Lok Sabha because of your strength. But once again I decided that I will not contest the Lok Sabha elections. After winning elections continuously for 25-30 years, the responsibility should fall on the new generation. Therefore, 30 years ago I decided that I would no longer contest Lok Sabha elections and would no longer pay attention to politics here and handed over the entire responsibility to Ajit Dada Pawar. This responsibility has fallen on Ajit Dada for the last 25-30 years. That means that for the first 30 years this responsibility fell on me and then the next 30 years fell on Ajit Dada.

Sharad Pawar hinted at retirement

He said that is why it is necessary to make arrangements for the next 30 years. If this agreement needs to be reached, then it is necessary to go among the people and understand their problems and have a perspective. During this, Sharad Pawar said that he has participated in the elections 14 times and how many more times he will participate in the elections. He said he would have to stop somewhere. Sharad Pawar said I am not in power, but I am definitely in Rajya Sabha. There is still a year and a half left. But after this year and a half, we will have to consider whether we will go to Rajya Sabha or not. I will not contest the Lok Sabha elections or any other election. How many times will you participate in the elections?
