After receiving the information, the police swung into action and recovered the girl safely on Tuesday morning (November 26).
According to Sonbhadra police, in the video sent to her brother, the girl is seen tied by her hands and legs, while a belt is tied around her neck. She is appealing to her family and father to release her. In exchange, he asks the kidnapper for money.
The girl had gone with the neighbor.
SP Ashok Kumar Meena said that on November 22, a father lodged an FIR at the local Myorpur police station under section 87 of the Indian Justice Code (kidnapping, luring or compelling a woman to marry, etc.) .). Later, on November 25 (Monday), a video arrived on the girl’s brother’s phone in which the girl appealed to the family to accept the kidnappers’ demands.
The SP further said that police teams were busy investigating the case. The girl was rescued in good condition this morning. Initial investigations revealed that he had gone with a person from his neighborhood and they both already knew each other. However, the matter took a new turn when a video was sent to the woman’s family on Monday in which the girl is seen tied at the legs and hands and demanding money from her family for her release from the kidnappers.
