(Bhiwani News) Loharu. Diwali, the festival of lights, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and pomp across the Loharu subdivision. While a lot of shopping was done in the markets during the Diwali festival, on the night after Lakshmi Puja, people expressed their happiness by lighting lamps and candles in their homes. A lot of enthusiasm was seen among the youth at the Diwali festival. During this time, the youth set off fireworks despite the ban by the Supreme Court, the government and the administration. Following a centuries-old tradition, people lit ghee and oil lamps in their homes to celebrate the return of Lord Ram to Ayodhya from his exile.

On this occasion, temples, shops and houses were decorated with colored lights. People worshiped Mahalakshmi in their homes according to the auspicious time and prayed for the prosperity of her family and the nation. Lamps were also lit in homes in memory of the immortal martyrs of the country and tributes were paid to the martyrs. A huge crowd was seen in the markets on the occasion of Diwali, where people bought sweets and essential items and depending on the auspicious time, the goddess of wealth Lakshmi ji and Kuber ji were worshiped. A lot of enthusiasm was seen among the youth at the Diwali festival.

Although there was a ban on the sale and use of firecrackers by order of the government and the court, despite this, many fireworks were made, so the rules were seen to be flouted. On this occasion, temples, shops, educational institutions and houses were decorated with colorful lights and businessmen prayed to Goddess Lakshmi in their respective establishments and prayed for the well-being of their businesses according to the auspicious time.
