Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Review: Trapped in the labyrinth of Kartik-Vidya-Madhuri, you will scream, you will say – kill me, kill me – Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 review kartik aaryan vidya balan madhuri dixit khichadi is indigestible tmovp

My heart is very happy with Vidya Balan’s return in the film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’. But there was one question in the mind: would it be like the original ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’? Will Vidya be able to work her magic again as Manjulika? Then it came to light that Madhuri Dixit is also in the photo. That means the thing is going to be “double fun.” If ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ is made with two great actresses, then Anees Bazmee will definitely do something amazing. Karthik Aryan’s fun is there too, wow! This was my expectation. What happened to that hope you will find out as you continue reading.

What is the story of the film?

The picture starts at Raktaghat in Bengal. In 1824 a princess named Manjulika lived here. She was an expert in dancing. Furthermore, there was no response to their weapons. Manjulika has her eyes set on her father Shubhrato Maharaj’s throne. But between her and the throne there is one person, without whom she cannot achieve anything. Manjulika, who set out to take the throne, was left empty-handed but did not give up even after his death. Now he has come seeking revenge and thirsts for everyone’s blood.

It has been 200 years since this incident occurred in Raktaghat. Nowadays, Ruhaan (Karthik Aryan) fools people by posing as Rooh Baba. Ruhaan, posing as a hypocritical Baba, along with his disciple, makes people forgive his mistakes by calling them ghosts and sprinkling Ganges water on them. In return, he snatches away their precious items, calling them “damned.” But this fake Rooh Baba doesn’t know that he will soon meet a real ghost who will cause him trouble.

This happens when Meera (Trupti Dimri) and her maternal uncle (Rajesh Sharma) come into Ruhaan’s life. They both ask him to come with them to Raktghat. Once the work is completed, Ruhaan will receive Rs 1 million. He doesn’t know what the job is, but his greed is very great. Then Rooh Baba simply took his bag and prepared to face Manjulika without knowing anything. When I reached the Maharaja’s palace and saw its condition, the ground slipped under my feet. Now Rooh Baba will be able to make Manjulika get rid of Meera and her family and after all, who Manjulika really is and what is her real story, all this and much more has been cooked in the picture.

What did Anees Bazmee want to do?

It’s no good challenging the audience’s logic by giving them hope. Director Anees Bazmee is doing the same in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’. There are as many loopholes in the story penned by writer Akash Kaushik as there are in the hair of Rajesh Sharma, who played Meera’s maternal uncle in a scene in the film.

The movie starts well. The story of Manjulika, her death and becoming a ghost makes you understand and also scares you. Then comes Rooh Baba, whose hypocrisy makes you laugh. But as the movie progresses, you keep getting trapped in the maze. The first half of the picture keeps you enthralled. The story unfolds layer by layer and what will happen now, how it will happen, comes to mind.

Then comes the second half! Here your hopes and enthusiasm, which were at their peak, stumble because the film has left logic and fun behind. Now anything is happening in the picture. Now no one has any doubt whether Manjulika is here or not, now the question is who is Manjulika? In the name of horror, you can see cliché things in the picture. Some comedy has been interspersed, which is mostly a mistake. This is the moment when the film has slipped out of the director’s hands and there is no story left in it. Anything is happening on the screen and you are waiting for it to end and then go home.

Did you like the performance?

Talking about acting, watching Kartik Aryan in the role of Rooh Baba reminds us of Akshay Kumar. From his body language to the way he delivers his dialogues, he is like Akshay Kumar. As the film progresses, Karthik reverts to Akshay’s Karthik. Otherwise his work is fine. Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit added a different color to the picture. Her performance is quite good and what can we say about her dancing. Both heroines did justice to the roles given to them. Trupti Dimri also worked in the film. What his role is, why, what he is like… it’s hard to say. Looking at it, it seems like they must have been told to just create an atmosphere, people will understand for themselves what is happening.

Many actors including Vijay Raj, Rajesh Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, Sanjay Mishra and Ashwini Kalsekar have played supporting roles in this film. Sanjay, Ashwini and Rajpal’s characters are the most irritating in the film. None of his actions make you laugh. We have seen the three stars in many better comic avatars than this. The film also stars Screenpatti’s Chhote Miyan aka Arun Kushwaha. His role is limited to passing out at every opportunity.

Your senses will be blown away after watching the climax of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’. This is very boring. Overall, if you plan to watch it, do so at your own risk.
