Vikrant Massey gets tax free in UP
Famous Mirzapur actor Vikrant Massey’s film ‘The Sabarmati Report’ has been released in theatres. The film is receiving mixed responses from people. Along with Vikrant, Riddhi Dogra and Raashi Khanna also play lead roles in this film based on the Godhra incident in Gujarat. The film was released in theaters on November 15, after which there is a lot of discussion about the film everywhere. Meanwhile, news has come that this film is now tax free in UP. Authorities reported this decision on Thursday. This decision has been taken by CM Yogi Adityanath’s government.
CM Yogi along with many of his colleagues watched the film The Sabarmati Report in a hall in Lucknow, after which he took this decision. The film’s lead actor Vikrant Massey and many others were also present at this programme. After watching the film, the Chief Minister announced that it would be tax-free in Uttar Pradesh.
The film is based on the Godhra incident.
Let us tell you that after watching the movie, it became tax free in Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and also in Gujarat, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. After watching this film, Prime Minister Modi also praised it a lot. The Sabarmati Report is based on the heinous incident of setting fire to a train full of kar sevaks at Godhra station in Gujarat on February 27, 2002.

90 passengers lost their lives in this incident, after which communal riots broke out in Gujarat. Apart from Vikrant Massey, Raashi Khanna and Riddhi Dogra also play important roles in the film. Announcing that the film will be tax free, CM Yogi said he congratulates the entire team of The Sabarmati Report who tried to bring out this truth before the people of the country through the film.
