Bhubaneshwar: There have been shots fired at a moving train in Odisha. Several rounds have been fired at the train. There has been quite a stir after this incident came to light. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) are investigating the matter.
What’s the whole deal?
In Odisha, miscreants opened fire on Nilanchal Express. This incident occurred today at 9.25 am. This incident occurred when the train was leaving Charampa railway station. After receiving the complaint from the railway director, Bhadrak GRP launched an investigation.
This shot was fired into the compartment of the guard’s van, which had no space for any passengers to sit. There is no information about anyone injured in the incident. Authorities are still investigating who fired the shot and what the motive was.
The news of the bomb had disturbed the sleep of the railway department.
Previously, bomb threats were received at different train stations for several days. Recently, there was information about a bomb in the Bihar Sampark Kranti Superfast train, following which panic was created among the passengers sitting in the train.
There was panic in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh due to information of a bomb on train number 12565 Bihar Sampark Kranti Superfast and the RPF and GRP police team along with the dog squad had checked the train carefully. However, nothing was later found and the train was sent an hour and a half late.
