1 Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said on Constitution Day that today is a very important day. The program of celebrating November 26 as Constitution Day did not begin when the Congress government was in the country, but when the Bharatiya Janata Party government came under the leadership of Narendra Modi.
2 Opposition leader Mata Prasad Pandey has put the government in the dock in connection with the Sambhal incident. 8. So far 69 per cent of the land for the Chitrakoot Link Expressway has been acquired. Recently, an additional amount of Rs 120 crore has been released to expedite the land acquisition process. The approved cost for land purchase has been estimated at Rs 228 crore and an amount of Rs 100 crore has already been released under this head.
9 Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Fakhrul Hasan Chand expressed deep grief over the violence in Sambhal and termed it as an unfortunate incident in which five youths lost their lives. Making serious allegations against the administration, he said that this incident is a result of the failure of the administration. Fakhrul Hasan termed the administration’s action a failure and demanded a judicial inquiry into the matter. He said the SP leader was not present there at the time of the incident but the police registered a case against him.
10 On the Sambhal incident, BJP MP Dinesh Sharma said that the police action is to maintain law and order. The yogi government is impartial. It is the government’s responsibility to ensure that riots do not occur. There were many people approaching in the crowd with stones in their hands. Who were those people? There must have been antisocial elements whose objective was to create unrest.
