Bengaluru: The Karnataka Police arrested the person who threatened Salman Khan from Haveri. According to information from Pune police, Haveri police arrested a person named Bikaram Bishnoi. Apparently, he had made a threatening call to Salman Khan’s office. He has been handed over to the Pune police. He is a resident of Rajasthan and was living in Haveri for the last 3 months.
The accused lived with workers.
According to officials, Bikaram, originally from Rajasthan, had worked at a construction site and lived in a room with other workers in Haveri’s Gaudar area. After receiving information about Bikaram’s whereabouts, the Mumbai Police informed the Haveri Police, following which he was immediately arrested.
Threatening message sent to traffic control room
Haveri Superintendent of Police (SP) Anshu Kumar informed about the incident while talking to the media. He said that Salman Khan was threatened in the form of a message sent to the traffic control room in Worli area of Mumbai. In the message, someone claiming to be a member of the Bishnoi community demanded that the actor visit his temple and apologize for the killing of the black deer or pay a ransom of Rs 2 million.
He is said to be the brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
The threatening message further threatened that if Salman Khan refused, he would be killed. The accused also identified himself as the brother of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who has been linked to similar threats against the actor in the past. Salman Khan, who had already received threats from people claiming to be from the Bishnoi community, is yet to publicly comment on the latest developments.
