With the laying of the foundation stone of AIIMS in Darbhanga, Bihar, on Tuesday, a promise by BJP MP Gopal Ji Thakur was also fulfilled. After which he along with his followers went to Simaria in Begusarai and bathed in the Ganges. The MP said that once the construction of Darbhanga AIIMS is completed, the condition and direction of Mithila region will change. Now, after its acceptance, financial approval, transfer of land and completion of yesterday’s foundation stone laying ceremony, my resolution to build AIIMS has been fulfilled.
