Madhya Pradesh Congress president Jitu Patwari.
Madhya Pradesh Congress president Jitu Patwari on Friday termed the BJP’s election guarantee in the state as false. The Congress leader claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s five assurances, including the Brahmin Ladli Yojana in Madhya Pradesh, are lies. Jitu Patwari says BJP is misleading Maharashtra like Madhya Pradesh.
Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Jitu Patwari in a press conference focused on BJP’s electoral guarantee. The Congress leader also challenged former Chief Minister and Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. He said he should even name one beneficiary of Ladli Brahmin Yojana who gets a monthly allowance of Rs 3,000.
The Shinde government has started this scheme in Maharashtra.
In June this year, the grand alliance government of the BJP, Shiv Sena and the NCP had announced the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. Under this, women between the ages of 21 and 65 will receive a monthly allowance of Rs 1,500. To avail this benefit, the annual family income of the beneficiaries must be limited to 2 lakh 50 thousand rupees.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has announced that if the ruling coalition comes to power in the assembly elections to be held on November 20, the subsidy will be increased to Rs 2,100 per month. At the same time, Jitu Patwari alleged that none of PM Modi’s five assurances, including Rs 3,000 under the Ladli Brahmin scheme, were fulfilled. This scheme was announced only for votes and the government was formed.
‘The deputy’s electoral promises were completely false’
Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Jitu Patwari asked who is responsible for this. The Congress leader said Shivraj Singh Chouhan is campaigning in Maharashtra and Jharkhand and talking about Ladli Behna Yojana. He stated that the beneficiary does not receive this amount under this plan. The promises made during the state elections were completely false and the people of Maharashtra are also being cheated in the same way.
