BMW India, the Indian unit of German luxury car maker BMW, will increase the prices of all its models by three percent from January 2025. This means you will now have to pay more money to buy a BMW car in the new year. The company said the new rates will come into effect from January 1, 2025. According to PTI News, the company’s range of Indian-made cars includes the 2 Series Gran Coupe, the long-wheelbase 3 Series, the 5 Series long wheelbase, the 7 Series long wheelbase, X1, X3, X5, X7 and M340i.

According to the news, BMW also sells models such as i4, i5, i7, i7 M70, iX1, BMW iX, Z4 M40i, M2 Coupe as Completely Built Units (CBU). Last week, Mercedes-Benz had announced that it would increase prices of all its models in India by up to three percent from January 1, 2025, citing rising input costs, inflationary pressures and higher operating expenses. Mercedes-Benz car prices in India will increase from Rs 2 lakh for the GLC to Rs 9 lakh for the Mercedes-Maybach S 680 luxury limousine.
Increase in company sales.
Sales of BMW and Mini brands in India stood at 10,556 units from January to September this year, up 10 per cent year-on-year. The company sold 9,580 BMW and Mini vehicles in the first nine months of 2023 last year. The group has also sold 5,638 units of the Motorrad brand during this period.
