Sharda Sinha passed away, (Aaj Samaj), New Delhi/Patna: The funeral of Bihar folk singer Sharda Sinha will take place tomorrow. His mortal remains are being transferred from Delhi to Patna on an Indigo flight. Sharda Sinha, 72, breathed her last around 9:20 pm last night at Delhi AIIMS. Many personalities, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, have expressed deep grief over his demise.
Cremation to be carried out with state honours: Nitish
Sharda Sinha’s last rites will be performed at Gulbi Ghat on Thursday at 8 am. Chief Minister Nitish has said that Sharda will be cremated with full state honours. The mortal remains will be kept in Patna for the last darshan after noon today.

Bihar nightingale Sharda Sinha was suffering from multiple myeloma disease and was admitted to Delhi AIIMS a few days ago. According to hospital sources, Sharda Sinha’s oxygen level had decreased significantly. Although the doctors kept trying to save him, they could not save him.
