Method

Chana dal – 1 cup, Spinach – 2 cups (finely chopped), Chaat masala – 1 tsp, Ginger – 1 tsp (grated), Garlic – 2 to 3 cloves (finely chopped), Onion – 1 small hua (finely chopped), green coriander- 1/2 cup (finely chopped), green chili- 2 (finely chopped), rice flour- 1 cup, garam masala- 1/2 tsp, black pepper powder- 1/4 tsp, turmeric- 1/4 tsp. Salt to taste, mustard oil for frying.
Method
Soak chana dal in water for about 1 hour. After this, take out the chana dal from the pressure cooker water. Add ginger, garlic, turmeric and a cup of water and cook for about 3 to 4 whistles. When it is well cooked, we take it out and let it cool. After this, put it in a blender and make a smooth paste. Put this paste in a bowl. Now it’s time to add onion, green chilli, chaat masala, garam masala, black pepper powder, coriander leaves, salt to taste, little rice flour and mix. Take out the rice flour separately on a plate and keep it aside. Make skewers of desired shape with lentil mixture. To prevent the mixture from sticking to your hands, you can apply water or oil to your hands. Place a frying pan on gas and add oil. When the oil is hot, coat the skewers with rice flour on both sides and fry them in the oil. Serve with favorite chutney.
