The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the revised list of category-wise vacancies for its Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE) 3.0. All the candidates who have registered for this exam can now visit the official website of BPSC at bpsc.bih.nic.in to get information about their category and respective posts. This list has been specially prepared for the posts of Class 1 to 5 and Class 6 to 8 under Education Department and SC-ST Welfare Department and is available in PDF format.
Vacancies under BPSC TRE 3.0 recruitment drive
The main objective of BPSC teacher recruitment is to overcome the huge shortage of teachers in several schools in the state. In total, 25,505 positions will be hired in primary school (classes 1-5) and 18,973 positions in secondary school (classes 6-8). Apart from this, 210 vacancies in primary schools and 126 vacancies in middle schools have been announced under the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) Welfare Department.

The BPSC TRE 3.0 reexaminations were held from July 19 to 22. Previously, this exam was scheduled to be held in March, but due to the leak of the exam papers, it was canceled and later held again. In the revised vacancy list, posts have been distributed taking into account the reservation norms and the results of judicial proceedings.
The exams were conducted in two shifts at different centers in Bihar. The final result of BPSC TRE 3.0 is expected to be announced in a phased manner by the end of this month, although the commission has not revealed the official date of the result. Once the result is declared, candidates can download their result and scorecard from their login panel. The scorecard will contain the candidate’s name, roll number, marks obtained, qualification status, rank, cut-off marks, exam name, personal details and other important information.
After the final result, the shortlisted candidates will be called for a round of interviews and document verification. This process will be done entirely on the basis of the candidate’s eligibility and documents.
