Girl commits suicide by jumping into a well
A surprising case has come to light in Bikaner, Rajasthan, after hearing that people have started raising questions about love. In a village in Shribalaji police station area in Bikaner district of the state, a minor girl lost her life in her lover’s affair. The daughter of a farmer who worked as a sharecropper in a field in the area committed suicide by jumping into a well for her lover. The police are trying to remove the body from the well at the request of the young lover, but they are having difficulty because the well is full of water.
According to information received from the police, the youngest daughter of a farmer of a village under Jasrasar police station in Bikaner district was having an affair with a youth living in the neighbourhood. There were also telephone conversations between the two. In such a situation, on the night of November 2, the young man cajoled the girl and took her away. When the girl’s family did not find her in her bed at 11 pm, they lodged a complaint at the Sribalaji police station.
Rumors about a love affair have come to light
According to information received from the police, the initial investigation has revealed a love story between the two. Upon complaint from the girl’s family, the police detained the young man and questioned him. During interrogation, the youth said that both of them approached an abandoned well of Sathika village in Panchu police station area and were planning to jump. The young man said that the girl jumped into the well first, upon seeing which he changed his mind and returned home. Due to water in the well, the police called the SDRF team and are trying to recover the girl’s body.
According to Shri Balaji police, both of them were planning to go to Jaisalmer and get married. However, when the young man learned that the girl was a minor, they both changed their decision to marry. After this, they both talked about returning home, but then, out of fear for their families, they both made a plan to die.
