Brutality against Hindus in Bangladesh
The Congress has expressed concern over the continued attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh. The Congress issued a statement saying that we express deep concern over the environment of insecurity faced by religious minorities in Bangladesh. The arrest of an ISKCON saint is the latest example of this. The Congress hopes that the Government of India will pressure the Government of Bangladesh to take necessary steps to ensure protection of life and property of minorities.
After the coup d’état in Bangladesh, a genocide of Hindus is taking place. After Sheikh Hasina left power, Hindus are being brutally crushed in Bangladesh. Large-scale looting and vandalism is being carried out against the minority Hindu community. The attacks target commercial establishments and homes of Hindus.

There is more anger in the Hindu community over the arrest of ISKCON spokesperson Chinmoy Krishna Das in Bangladesh. The Indian government has reacted strongly to the arrest of Chinmay Das. The Ministry of External Affairs has said that we are concerned about the arrest of Chinmoy Krishna Das. The Bangladesh government should ensure the safety of minorities. Chinmoy Krishna Das is accused of disrespecting the national flag of Bangladesh.
