Election campaign halted in Maharashtra

On Monday, the last day of election campaigning in Maharashtra, there were fierce clashes between the parties. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi came to the press conference with a safe, opened it, took out some poles and fiercely attacked the BJP. Rahul mocked the BJP’s slogan of ‘If there is one, we are safe’ and explained the meaning of the slogan by showing Prime Minister Modi and industrialist Gautam Adani on the poster. Rahul alleged that the BJP government handed over Mumbai’s Dharavi to Adani.

Responding to Rahul’s attack, BJP also immediately held a press conference and put up a large banner in the background, which had photographs of Gautam Adani along with Sharad Pawar, Ashok Gehlot, Robert Vadra, Revanth Reddy and Bhupendra Hooda. BJP leader Vinod Tawde said Adani’s maximum development took place during the Congress government. Tawde said it is right when Congress governments deal with Adani, but in the BJP government, if Adani receives tenders for development works in a transparent manner, then it irritates the Congress.

BJP hits back at Rahul’s attack

While Vinod Tawde attacked in Mumbai, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra held a press conference with posters in Delhi. On one poster, Sonia Rahul was listed as an accused in the National Herald case and on the other it was written: “Chhota Popat has ruined the Congress.” Sambit Patra said that for the allegations made by Rahul, he will have to apologize just like he had to apologize for the ‘Chowkidar Chor Hai’ slogan in 2019.

War of words between uncle and nephew

While there was a heated argument between the Congress and the BJP in Mumbai, the war of words between Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar in Baramati also turned into electoral fireworks. Without mentioning Ajit Pawar’s name, Sharad Pawar said that whoever messed with him, his political career was over. Ajit Pawar also responded to his uncle in balanced language. Ajit Pawar said that his uncle definitely brought him into politics, but he fulfilled his responsibilities with his ability and hard work, that’s why people of Baramati love him like Sharad Pawar.

Who is the real Shiv Sena?

On the last day of the campaign, Shiv Sena heavily attacked Mahayuti and criticized the BJP’s slogan of “Bantenge to Katenge”. When Uddhav Thackeray called CM Eknath Shinde a traitor, CM Shinde accused Uddhav Thackeray of abandoning the ideology of Bala Saheb and said that was why the workers abandoned him. Shinde said that Uddhav, not me, has betrayed Bala Saheb’s opinion.

After the counterattack by the parties, we now have to wait until November 20, when the people of Maharashtra will cast their votes and on November 23, it will be known which party and which alliance influenced the village talks.
