Major changes have been recommended to NTA to avoid the problem of paper leaks and irregularities in other entrance exams including JEE Main, NEET UG, CUET UG, CUET PG. In the recommendation, IIT, NIT, Navodaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya and engineering colleges are asked to become examination centers for all these entrance exams. The NTA Examination Reform Committee in its recommendation has called for major changes in the centers to make the examinations foolproof. He also advocated the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in conducting exams. In which it was said that from the examination center to its organization, paper, answer sheet and other tasks, AI will have to be used, so that no problem arises anywhere.

The committee has also advised the NTA to set up its own examination centers and prepare its workforce. According to NTA sources, to make the entrance exam safe, the NTA has first been asked to change the way it conducts its exams. We tell you that in NEET UG 2024, irregularities were found in the examination center itself, which is why changes have been recommended in the examination centers.

Emphasis on conducting exams along the lines of the IIT.

The committee said that JEE Advanced of IIT is a better entrance exam. The NTA needs to obtain information regarding the preparation and conduct of JEE Advanced from the IITs, which conduct the JEE Advanced exam in test centers selected by TCS. TCS is responsible for providing centers and computers, while the IIT itself keeps all other responsibilities confidential, from centers to conducting exams across the country. In this, the IIT professors themselves conduct the entrance exams by being present at each center, similarly, the NTA will have to appoint its own officials at each center, this will maintain the confidentiality of the exam.

Government institutions were asked to create examination centers.

The recommendation further says that emphasis will be placed on setting up examination centers in government institutions. Here the setup is already ready for CCTV monitoring and online and offline exams (hybrid mode), for this NTA will have to set up centers in IITs, NITs, AICTE recognized engineering colleges, Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya . Let us tell you that all these educational institutions come under the Central Ministry of Education, so there will be no disturbance in the confidentiality of the examinations or the security of the examination centres. Additionally, the NTA will not have to hire independent staff for the exams.
