In fact, the Government of Pakistan had prepared a plan so that between November 16 and 24, the trophy would be taken throughout Pakistan. They will also take you to the second highest peak in the world, K2.
The trophy will not go to any PoK city
It was also decided to take it to three cities in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), Skardu, Murree and Muzaffarabad. But following objection from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the ICC has taken notice of it. Furthermore, Pakistan has been ordered that this trophy will no longer go to PoK.
Let us tell you that the government of Pakistan will take this trophy to new places to promote tourism in their country. In this context, the trophy will also be taken to the second highest peak in the world, K2.
Indian team will not go to Pakistan
The Champions Trophy is scheduled to be held from February 19 to March 9 next year. But his schedule hasn’t arrived yet. In such a situation, this is also the first time in ICC history that the trophy reaches the host country before the schedule was released and will also tour.
On the other hand, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has already refused to send its team to Pakistan. In such a situation, it is speculated that this tournament can be held under a hybrid model. Or the entire Champions Trophy will be moved from Pakistan to another country.
The trophy will not go to Lahore, Karachi or Rawalpindi
However, Pakistan has prepared the Champions Trophy schedule, which is yet to be released. According to this, all the matches of the tournament will be played in three venues in Pakistan, Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi. Due to excessive fog in all three cities, the trophy will not be collected here.
On the other hand, apart from sending the trophy to Pakistan, ICC has also made it clear that being the host, this is an official tour of the trophy. In such a situation, it cannot be considered safe for the tournament to be held there.
