Chandigarh – Chief Minister Nayab Saini held an important press conference ahead of his visit to Jharkhand, in which he made several beneficial announcements for the farmers of the state at Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. While congratulating the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Prakash Parv, the Chief Minister announced a special gift for the farmers. On this occasion, the Chief Minister talked about releasing the second installment of the bond to the farmers, in which the government will deposit a bond of Rs 300 crore in the accounts of the farmers.

The Chief Minister said that earlier on August 16, a bonus of Rs 496 crore had been given to farmers. With this second tranche, the government aims to further strengthen the economic condition of farmers and encourage them to take up agriculture. Chief Minister Nayab Saini said this bonus is a recognition of the hard work of farmers, which will bring positive changes in their lives. He assured that the state government is always ready to look after the interests of farmers and that beneficial plans for farmers will also be implemented in the future.

During the press conference, the Chief Minister also launched the ‘Dispute Resolution Scheme’, which will be in force for the next six months. He said the objective of this scheme is to resolve the disputes of farmers and other concerned sectors, so that they can get justice quickly. He said that this plan was first implemented in the short term and then about 50,000 people took advantage of it. This time the government has decided to implement it for a long period, so that more and more people can take advantage of this scheme.

Along with this, the Chief Minister also launched the “Soil Health Card” scheme for the benefit of farmers. Under this scheme, the government will provide soil health cards to farmers, which will provide information on the soil health of their fields. This will help farmers know what essential nutrients are missing in their soil and how they can increase the productivity of their crops. The Chief Minister said that through the Soil Health Card, farmers will be introduced to scientific farming and will be helped to cultivate crops in the right direction. The concerned department will provide the soil analysis report to the farmers through this card, so that they can overcome the deficiency of essential nutrients in the soil.

There is a wave of joy among farmers over these announcements by the Chief Minister. These initiatives of the state government are expected to improve the agricultural sector, which will not only improve the economic condition of farmers but also increase awareness about agriculture in the state.
