Justice Surya Kant, Justice of the Supreme Court, in his speech emphasized the important role of legal services authorities in advancing social justice for marginalized communities, especially persons with disabilities, child victims and those suffering from inequalities. socioeconomic.

At the conference, the Chief Justice of Punjab High Court and Haryana High Court highlighted the important role played by the Legal Services Authorities of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh in facilitating access to justice to the public and the marginalized.

He welcomed participants and presented details of wide-ranging initiatives such as prison reforms and legal literacy campaigns aimed at bridging the gap between the legal system and social needs. In his speech, he emphasized increasing access to justice through stronger legal aid mechanisms and the introduction of technologies such as QR codes to improve efficiency and accessibility in legal processes.
