As per the directives of District and Sessions Judge Naresh Kumar, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, CJM Sanjeev Kajla, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, has said that if any prisoner in jail needs legal assistance, then the authority can help. They, CJM Sanjeev Kajla said while inspecting the Jhajjar district jail on Wednesday, were talking to the prisoners.
He said that if the accused remains in prison for a long time due to lack of legal assistance in minor cases, he can take help from the Legal Services Authority. While visiting the jail, CGM Sanjeev Kajla ji also inspected the male jail. Visiting the jail, CJM Sanjeev Kajla ji observed the living conditions of the prisoners, food habits, drinking water arrangements, library, cleanliness, medical facilities, etc.
He asked about the time he spent in jail. During the inspection, he explained to the prisoners in detail about the services of the District Legal Services Authority and directed that if any prisoner of Dadri district needs legal help, they should inform the DLSA office.
