Chandigarh News, a female peacock: Under the guidance of Dr. Meenu at Morni Health Centre, Dr. Sagar Joshi (Medical Officer) organized an awareness camp under ‘Sans’ program as per government orders. Within the framework of this program, health checks were carried out on children under 5 years of age. Dr. Joshi informed the parents present about the symptoms of pneumonia, prevention and the importance of timely treatment. He suggested measures to reduce indoor pollution and advised protecting children from secondhand smoke.
During this, Dr Joshi said that if a child shows symptoms like difficulty breathing, fever, rapid breathing or noise in the chest, he or she should be immediately examined at the nearest health facility.
