(UtterPardesh News) Greater Noida. Chhath Mahaparva, the sacred festival of Sun worship, concluded on Friday with great devotion and joy by offering Arghya to the rising Sun. On the last day of this difficult ritual that lasted for four days, Chhath devotees worshiped Chhath Maiya and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of their families. This year, Chhath Mahaparva was also celebrated in various societies in Greater Noida.

A large crowd of devotees were seen offering Surya Arghya at the Chhath Ghats built in various societies like Cherry County, SKA Metroville, SKA Green Arch and Paramount Golf Foreste. The devotees performed the puja with great pomp. People would gather at the ghats early in the morning and pray for the happiness, peace and prosperity of their families. The Chhath Puja celebration held in Cherry County was particularly grand. In this program organized on November 7 and 8, cultural programs were organized in which the residents of the society enthusiastically participated.

In addition, numerous dignitaries were also honored on this occasion. These included AIIMS Professor Dr Piyush Ranjan, Professor Dr Archana and Cherry County residents Dr Vivek, Dr Anuradha and Dr Venkatesh. Senior citizens, puja committee and maintenance staff also had an important contribution in the event. The residents of Cherry County also enjoyed the famous Litti Chokha of Bihar and all the residents remained engrossed in devotion throughout the event.
