Bilateral talks were held between Prime Minister Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in Russia. During this period many issues were discussed. A big statement has come from China regarding this. China has said it is willing to implement the consensus reached between Jinping and Modi on important issues.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry has also responded to the possibility of Modi-Jinping meeting on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Brazil. Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said he had no information about the meeting’s agenda. China is willing to work together with India to enhance dialogue and cooperation and promote strategic trust.

Last month, there was a meeting of about 50 minutes between Modi and Jinping on the sidelines of the summit in Kazan, Russia. In this, both leaders had supported the agreement on disengagement of troops from the remaining standoff points on the LAC in eastern Ladakh and initiation of patrols.
There must be respect for each other’s sovereignty.
Modi-Jinping had also directed to restore various bilateral dialogue mechanisms. In the meeting, Prime Minister Modi spoke about the importance of properly resolving differences and not allowing peace and stability in the border areas to be disturbed. The Prime Minister had said that there should be mutual trust and respect for each other’s sovereignty.
During this, Chinese President Jinping said that China-India relations depend on how the two countries behave towards each other. China and India should maintain good mutual perception. We should work together to live in harmony and find the right path for development.
