(Jind News) Jind. Monica, chief judicial magistrate and secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, conducted a surprise inspection of the local jail on Wednesday. During the inspection he listened to prisoners and detainees about the difficulties they faced in their cases and gave them information about solutions to the problems.

In addition to this, the CJM appealed to the prisoners that if any person needs a lawyer to defend their case, they can hire the services of a lawyer under the authority to receive free legal services. A written request in this regard should be sent through the jail administration to the office of District Legal Services Authority, Jind. Inmates were advised to undergo medical check-ups from time to time.
The concerned officials were given necessary guidelines regarding their lifestyle, health checks and legal knowledge. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Superintendent of Jail, LNDC, Nand Mohan Sharma, and jail staff were present. On this occasion the Lok Adalat jail was also organized. Many cases were pending in this Lok Adalat. In one of the cases it was resolved on the spot. Orders were issued to release the prisoner in process after subduing him.
