Banerjee said, “Bangladesh is a different country. The Government of India will investigate this matter. This matter is not under our jurisdiction. We shouldn’t even talk about this or interfere. “Though internally we are sad, we are following the policies set by the Centre.”

On the other hand, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) got great relief in Bangladesh today. The High Court rejected the demand to ban ISKCON activities in Bangladesh. Earlier, the High Court was asked to take suo motu cognizance and pass an order banning ISKCON activities in Bangladesh.

Senior Advocate of Bangladesh Supreme Court Mohammad Monir Uddin on Wednesday submitted some published news related to ISKCON before the apex court and requested the court to take suo motu cognizance in this regard and ask the government to ban the organisation. instructions to impose Article 144 in Chittagong, Rangpur and Dinajpur.
