On the third day of Chhath Puja, a crowd of devotees gathered at the ghats of the Gomati river in Lucknow, the capital of UP. Special preparations have been made at the Laxman Mela park and other ghats for this great festival of popular faith. Apart from decorating the ghats, security measures have also been strengthened. The administration has installed CCTV cameras and drone monitoring is being carried out so that no untoward incident occurs.
