Commitment made for the conservation and protection of cows in Gopashtami

◆ Gopashtami was celebrated by worshiping hundreds of cows in Karsevak Puram.

Ayodhya. Governments will have to demonstrate a strong will to keep cows safe. The death penalty should be provided for the slaughter of cows, only in this way can this invaluable heritage be saved. VHP Central Joint Organization General Secretary Vinayak Rao Desh Pandey said these things during the Gopashtami puja at Shri Ram Gaushala located in Karsevak Puram.

He said governments will have to show a strong will to keep cows safe. The death penalty should be provided for the slaughter of cows, only in this way can this invaluable heritage be saved. He said that since ancient times there is a belief that “Gavo Vishvastha Matarah” means that the cow is the mother of the world. This is the soul of India. He said cow husbandry will not be a burden on the family but will make them happy and prosperous. A person who takes care of cows remains free from all problems.

Shri Ram Gaushala Committee vice-chairman and former MP Lallu Singh appealed to all state governments in the country to support the Gaushalas in every way for the protection of cows. Pastures should be left in several places. Today residential and commercial centers are being established on Gochar lands. Even in the villages, importance is given to raising buffalos and jerseys instead of cows, due to which the indigenous breed of cows is becoming extinct. He said cow devotees will have to protect the offspring of cows at all costs.

Mahant Girish Das of Dadiya Temple described cow husbandry as sacred work and said cow-based agriculture is our origin. In the past, we all considered service to cows as service to gods and goddesses.

During this, VHP Central Joint Organization general secretary Vinayak Rao Desh Pandey worshiped hundreds of cows in Vedic style, under the direction of director Indradev Mishra.

On the occasion, VHP joint general secretary Koteshwar Sharma, Union minister Rajendra Singh “Pankaj” Karsevak Puram in-charge Shivdas Singh, Umesh Podwal, co-director Sharad Sharma, Virendra Kumar, department minister Dhireshwar Verma, system chief Balchand Verma, Rajendra Verma, Varun Rai, Subhash Pandey, Anil Pandey, Pawan Tiwari, Bablu Savita, Kamala Devi, etc. They undertook to promote cow protection by decorating the cow dynasty and offering jaggery and puris.
