BJP MLAs are openly opposing the restoration proposal of Article 370. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while opposing the proposal to restore Article 370, said that the proposal to withdraw Articles 370 and 35A in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly is an attempt to push the country towards terrorism. He warned the Abdullah government of Jammu and Kashmir and said the government should desist from trying to divide national unity. The country will never accept these disruptive efforts.
CM Yogi condemned Congress’ silent support
CM Yogi has condemned the Congress’ tacit support for the efforts of the National Conference government. He said that the condition of the Congress will be the same as that of Articles 370 and 35A. He said that on August 5, 2019, Prime Minister Modi put the final nail in the coffin of terrorism in the valley by abolishing sections 370 and 35A of Kashmir. Accusing the opposition, he said the Congress and the National Conference had made Kashmir a warehouse of terrorism.
