Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah clarified his stand on the demand for granting four per cent reservation to Muslims in government contracts. He said no decision has yet been made on the matter. Siddaramaiah told reporters that the demand for reservations for the Muslim community is increasing but no concrete steps have been taken in this direction as of now. He also clarified that currently the government does not have any such proposal nor is it being considered.
