Relatives of deceased Pushpendra Gangwar created a traffic jam by placing the body on the road.
Farmer Pushpendra Gangwar found it difficult to defend the murder of his brother in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly district. Late on Monday afternoon, while he was on his way from the village to his home in the city, some unknown miscreants shot and killed Pushpendra. According to the information, Pushpendra’s brother Vinod Gangwar was murdered in 2021, since then this case has been going on. On Monday, when Pushpendra was coming from the village to the city, three miscreants riding a bicycle shot him four times in the chest, causing him to die on the spot. As soon as the information was received, the police team reached the spot and started searching for the murderers.
On Monday, farmer Pushpendra Gangwar was shot dead near Padholi village on the Bareilly-Bisalpur highway in the Bhuta police station area. Late Pushpendra Gangwar was defending the murder of his brother Vinod Gangwar in 2021. On Monday afternoon, Pushpendra was coming from the village to his home in the city, when three cyclists stopped him on the way. The three fled after shooting Pushpendra.
The relatives blocked the road holding the body.
Hearing the sound of bullets, people nearby informed the police. As soon as the information was received, forces from various police stations, including SSP Anurag Arya, SP Dehat and CO, reached the spot. The relatives of the deceased blocked the road by placing the body, but after convincing the police the traffic jam was opened. Relatives of the deceased said the police should find the killers as soon as possible and send them to jail.
They shoot criminals who were riding bicycles
SSP Anurag Arya said that Pushpendra alias Pushpal, son of Baburam, a resident of Kharda village, was going to Bhuta police station on a bicycle, when information was received that three unknown miscreants traveling on a bicycle shot at Pushpendra. The police reached the spot and sent Pushpendra for treatment, but he died in the hospital. The SSP said that so far two accused have been identified. Five police teams have been deployed to arrest them.
The deceased’s brother was murdered 3 years ago.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the deceased had an old feud with the village storyteller Puranlal and his family, in which the deceased’s brother Vinod Gangwar was murdered in the year 2021. Puranlal’s brother , Pawan Kumar, had gone to jail for this murder case. Late Pushpendra Gangwar was the plaintiff in this case. The statements of all witnesses had been completed and the case was currently pending in court at the final stage.
The accused will be arrested soon – SSP
The SSP said that based on any complaint lodged by the family members of the deceased in the case, a case will be registered immediately. Five police teams have been formed to search the hideouts of the accused. SOG team, surveillance team, area officer and police station team, all of them have been deployed. Strict action will be taken by arresting all the accused immediately.
