According to police sources, this case seems suspicious. Police have arrested four accused. In this matter, ASP East Nripendra Kumar says that the entire matter is being investigated thoroughly. According to information, Vinod Kumar, a resident of Badruddin Pur of Sursa police station, was heading towards Tundawal on a bicycle on Thursday night. During that time, the miscreants who were near the canal laid siege to him and detained him. The miscreants dragged Vinod to the banks of the canal, where they tied his hands and legs and stuffed a cloth into his mouth to cover it. After that, they snatched all the cash from Vinod, then set the bike on fire and fled.
According to reports, on Friday morning (November 8), when some passersby passed by the place and saw the bicycle on fire and the young man lying at a certain distance, they caught up with him and called UP-112. As soon as the information was received, the police reached there and took Vinod to Sursa CHC.
