There was a bidding war for Anshul Kamboj between Delhi Capitals, Chennai Super Kings, Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians. Delhi Capitals was the first to bid. After this, Chennai made a higher offer for the player. He finally bought Anshul for Rs 3.40 crore. While its price was only Rs 30 lakh. They have bought it at a price 10 times higher than its base price. He has gone directly from millionaire to millionaire.
Took 10 wickets in one Ranji Trophy innings
Anshul Kamboj, 23, previously played for Mumbai Indians in the year 2024. He then played three matches in IPL and took a total of two wickets. Apart from this, he is part of the Haryana team in domestic cricket. He has become the biggest hero of Haryana domestic cricket. He took 10 wickets for 49 runs in 30.1 overs in an innings against Kerala in the Ranji Trophy. He became the third player to take 10 wickets in an innings of a Ranji Trophy match.
