Kolkata: The deep pressure area over the Bay of West Bengal could develop into a cyclonic storm on Wednesday. The Meteorological Department said there is a good chance that it will continue to move towards the northwest and become a cyclonic storm on November 27. Due to this, rain is possible in many districts of South Bengal. The cold can increase after rain.
The Meteorological Department said the cyclonic storm could cross the Sri Lanka coast and move towards Tamil Nadu in the next two days. At 8.30 am on Tuesday, the meteorological department said the deep depression was centered about 310 kilometers south-east of Trincomalee, 710 kilometers south-southeast of Puducherry and 800 kilometers south-southeast of Chennai.
