On Tuesday, in the city of Karachi, Pakistan, a local security guard opened fire on two Chinese nationals after a fight, wounding them. The incident took place at a police station in the ‘Industrial Trading Estate’ area of Karachi, Sindh province. Deputy Inspector General of Police Azhar Mahesar said they are investigating the incident to find out why the security guard opened fire on the Chinese nationals.
He said the security guard opened fire after an argument, wounding two Chinese nationals. The security guard has been arrested. Mahesar said both were admitted to the hospital. The condition of one of the injured is said to be serious.

Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs later confirmed that two Chinese nationals were injured in the incident, the injured were immediately admitted to the hospital and are receiving treatment. Instructions for arresting the security guard.
Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hasan Lanjar had ordered officials to arrest the security guard involved in the incident. According to a statement from the Sindh provincial home department, Lanjar has sought details about the incident from the deputy inspector general of Southern Police. The Interior Minister said companies providing security to Chinese and foreigners should be inspected and their report sent for review.
Physical and mental health checkup.
Lanjar said the physical and mental health of the guards deployed for security should be checked. He said only fully trained and healthy security guards should be deployed. According to the statement, he also ordered action against illegal and unregistered security companies.
