Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar congratulated and congratulated the state and countrymen on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti and Kartik Purnima. In his message, the Chief Minister said that in the personality of Guru Nanak ji are found the qualities of a philosopher, yogi, householder, founder of religion, social reformer, poet, patriot and Vishwabandhu. He traveled extensively in all four directions to spread the sacred message of peace, goodness and humanity. Guru Nanak Dev had given the motto ‘Ek Omkar’ i.e. God is one.
Nitish Kumar said: Guru Nanak Dev used to say that one should give up any kind of greed, work hard with one’s own hands and earn money by fair means.

He said we should all work together to fulfill Guru Nanak Dev’s dream of creating a holistic and harmonious society. Congratulating Guru Nanak Jayanti, the Chief Minister said that the well-being of all humanity lies in the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s message of equality of all religions and social harmony. Guru Nanak Dev gave a new direction to the society by opposing ostentation and superstitions.
