There has been an alarming rise in the pollution level in Delhi after Diwali. Bad air has once again increased concern. The weather has become cloudy due to the fireworks. At many places in Delhi, the PM 2.5 level exceeded the prescribed limit several times. At 6 am, the AQI level in Delhi’s Nehru Nagar, Patparganj, Ashok Vihar and Okhla was between 350 and 400.
According to the CPCB (Central Pollution Control Board), the Air Quality Index (AQI) level remained very low at several places in Delhi till 6 am.

The air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 375 at Narela, 288 at Jawaharlal Nehru, 340, Lodhi Road 352, Dwarka 349, Burari Crossing 394 and IGI Airport.
