An elderly man was brutally stabbed to death with knives on Monday morning in South Delhi’s Panchsheel Park area. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot, took possession of the body, sent it for autopsy and started investigating the case. The deceased was identified as Rohit Kumar, 64, who lived at home with his minor son.
Police reportedly received information about the incident at 9.25am. When the deceased’s car cleaner knocked on the door and got no answer. After this, when the deceased’s son opened the door, he found his father lying on the bedroom floor in a blood-soaked state.

The forensic team has collected blood stains and shoe marks on the floor. Police say the role of everyone present in the house is being investigated. According to the deceased’s son, he was in another room of the house at the time of the incident and did not hear anything.
