According to the information, this arrest occurred last week on November 9, but the Customs Department shared this information with the media yesterday.

Giving information in this regard, the Customs Department spokesperson stated that the Indian accused came from Bangkok via Kuala Lumpur. The detainee was detained when he was crossing the green channel and heading towards the exit door of the international arrivals hall. During the search of the accused’s bag, a white narcotic substance packaged in seven green polyethylene packages was found. Diagnostic testing confirmed that the substance was suspected to be heroin. When the team weighed him, they found that he weighed 7kg. The value of heroin seized in the international market was found to be over Rs 29 million. Now the investigation team is trying to determine whether the accused had any other associate in this work or not.
