Delhi: There is good news for retirees and seniors across the country. Now there will be no need to go to the bank and you will receive your pension at home. For this, Union Minister Jitendra Singh on Tuesday said that during the special drive being carried out across the country, pensioners have obtained digital life certificates (DLCs) worth one crore. This campaign is being carried out continuously from November 1 to 30 in 800 cities and towns across India.
10 million DLC have been created
The Union Minister said that this campaign was launched for the convenience of pensioners and senior citizens and DLCs worth one crore have been created so far. Thanks to this, seniors do not need to go to the bank and do not have to face any problems through technology.
More than 2 lakh people above 80 years of age
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also said in the 116th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ that the number of people receiving digital life certificates has crossed 80 lakh, of which more than 2 lakh are people above 80 years of age.
Facial authentication usage increased 202 times
Minister Jitendra Singh said that Prime Minister Modi’s vision of digital empowerment is being fulfilled through this campaign. The use of facial authentication has increased by 202 times in the DLC 3.0 campaign.
