To reduce the traffic problem and address the rising level of pollution, changes in office timings of various departments in Delhi have been announced. Delhi Chief Minister Atishi gave information about this in a post on X. Under this new order, Delhi government offices will follow different working hours during peak hours to help reduce traffic and air pollution. This order has come into effect with immediate effect.
To reduce traffic congestion and associated pollution, government offices in Delhi will follow staggered timings:
1. Municipal Corporation of Delhi: 8:30 am to 5 pm
2. Central government: from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

As per the new order, the office hours for employees of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi will now be from 8:30 am to 5 pm. For central government employees, these hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. While for employees of other departments of the Delhi government, the office hours will be from 10 am to 6:30 pm.
