Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has suffered a major setback ahead of the assembly elections to be held in Delhi next year. Senior party leader and Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot quit the party on Sunday and resigned. In his resignation letter to AAP coordinator Arvind Kejriwal, Gehlot pointed out the “serious challenges” facing the party. Attacking Kejriwal, key party leader Gehlot also raised some “embarrassing” controversies like “Sheeshmahal” and said this makes everyone doubt whether “we still consider ourselves a ‘common man'”.
