Delhi News Today: Schools to open in hybrid mode in Delhi-NCR

Education will take place in schools and universities both online and offline.

Delhi News Today (Aaj Samaj), New Delhi: After some improvement in air quality in Delhi NCR, Group 4 restrictions have now started to relax a bit. Due to this, schools and colleges in Delhi NCR have now been approved to reopen. Late on Monday night, the Air Quality Management Commission relaxed restrictions under the third or fourth phase (grape 3 and 4) of the Phased Response Action Plan in Delhi-NCR. The Commission has given permission to start all classes in educational institutions, schools and colleges in hybrid mode. Now in Delhi, along with Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater Noida, Gurugram and Faridabad, schools up to class 12 will be able to offer online and offline education.

The commission gave this order.

In the latest order on Monday, the Commission relaxed rules related to educational institutions, which come into effect immediately. The order said that the Delhi-NCR state governments will ensure that classes up to 12th are conducted in hybrid mode in schools and colleges. This means that where an online service exists, students will not need to come to school. The Commission clarified in the order that students and their parents will have the option of using online mode for their studies.

The ICA fell below 400

There has been a slight reduction in pollution due to the sun in the capital. It has remained below 350 for the last two days. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 349. This has increased by 31 points compared to Sunday. At the same time, Delhi’s air was in the worst category in NCR. CPCB expects the pollution to ease in the coming days. So the decision has been taken to reopen schools in Delhi and NCR.
