A painful incident has come to light in Nagloi, on the outskirts of the capital Delhi. Here a 14-year-old boy drowned in an open drain and died. The locals tried to save the boy, but failed. Police and firefighters were informed of the incident. After this, the team reached the scene and began the rescue. After hours of hard work, the boy’s body was pulled from the drain.

According to information, this incident took place in the Nagloi Rajendra Park extension area on the outskirts of Delhi. Here, a 14-year-old boy named Vikas lived with his family in Block D Extension area. He was walking along the open drain in the area on Friday afternoon, when he suddenly fell into the drain. When the locals saw this, they tried to save him. A woman tried to remove the child with the help of a piece of wood, but failed. People informed the police and fire brigade about the incident.

After receiving the information, police and fire teams arrived at the scene and began the rescue, but it was too late. After hours of hard work, the boy’s body was removed from the drain, which was identified by his father who arrived at the scene. After this incident there was a huge uproar among the boy’s family. The police are busy investigating this whole matter.

Local people say that this drainage is under the Delhi Government department. This drain is never cleaned. In this open drain there is an accumulation of garbage, so not even animals that fall through it can get out.

Many accidents have already occurred here in which many people have fallen. Many animals have died by drowning in the drain. Despite all this, the administration does not pay attention to it. Currently, the Nagloi police station has sent the boy’s body to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital for an autopsy.
