Delhi Pollution News: Respiratory crisis in Delhi, demand for artificial rain

Environment Minister Gopal Rai once again wrote a letter to the central government

Delhi Pollution News (Aaj Samaj), New Delhi: There is a respiratory crisis in the country’s capital. Environmental pollution is at its peak and the ICA has reached the worst level. Earlier it was around 400, now it has crossed 500. The Delhi government has implemented Grape-4 to reduce pollution. But at the moment no relief is expected. Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai has once again written a letter to the Central Government demanding artificial rain. Gopal Rai said that the government has taken all appropriate measures on its part, but pollution is not reducing. This can only be solved by artificial rain.

The central government does not give any response.

Delhi’s Environment Minister blamed the central government and said he repeatedly writes letters to it on this issue. He had also written letters to the central government on October 23 and 30 demanding that pollution be addressed and artificial rain provided. But the central government is not taking any action in this regard. Gopal Rai said this is not just a Delhi problem. The people of Delhi are also not the only ones responsible for this serious problem. Keeping in mind the health of millions of people, the central government should take a concrete decision in this regard as soon as possible and provide artificial rain.

The problem of smog and fog is increasing along with pollution.

The entire north India, including the national capital region, is being suffocated by smog. Delhi remained the most polluted city in the country. Still, the winds and falling temperatures made the situation even more complicated. A thick blanket of dense fog stretched from Punjab, Haryana to Rajasthan, western Uttar Pradesh and Mumbai. This reduced visibility and affected the operation of planes and trains. Many trains are late. Police maintained vigil throughout the night to effectively implement Grap-4 in Delhi and prevent banned vehicles from entering the capital. The Meteorological Department has issued a dense fog alert in seven states – Delhi, UP, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh and Maharashtra for two days.
