Delhi Pollution News: Sun eased pollution and air health improved after 22 days

AQI reduced to 318 on Sunday

Even if registered in very poor condition, relief can still be found today.

Delhi Pollution News (Aaj Samaj), New Delhi: There was some relief on Sunday in Delhi, transformed into a gas chamber. With the environment improving across the country in the last few days, some improvement was also seen in Delhi. However, this improvement was not due to rain but to sun. Thanks to the sun in the capital, the layer of fog dissipated a little, after which the level of pollution was completely reduced. The AQI also reached its best level in about 22 days. The capital’s AQI was recorded at 318 on Sunday, while it was recorded at 402 on Saturday.

The health of the air has gone from a very serious state to a very bad state.

Although people in the capital had a chance to breathe some better air after the last 22 days, as far as the AQI is concerned, it has just reached the level of very serious to very poor. This means that Delhi’s air is still not fit to breathe. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the situation is expected to remain more or less the same for the next three days starting Monday. In such a situation, the air quality index will remain above 300. During the night there will be fog. Also, there will be smog in the sky.
